anyone have or know where to get compressor maps for a GT28RS and a KKK K26?
dahlback can reburn my chip for their K26 program, and its a hell of alot cheaper to ge an ATP maifold and GT28RS, if the turbos are similar enough should the tune work? i would of course use the required injectors and a FMIC. any input is greatly apreciated

i think that you'll be alright with that software, just might have to tweak it a bit
kind of like when you run a K04 turbo on K03 software with tweaks...it won't be optimal, but it will work.

Big turbo, but still not enough info
What size K26 hotside? (.6 AR or .8 AR)
It'll be one of those two.
So its a K27 compressor wheel with a 58 trim?
Thats pretty big for a 1.8T motor, thats what many 2.2 liter straight 5s upgrade to.
If you can use a K26 hotside and external wastegate go with a straight RS2. That should be awesome on a 1.8T

I run a k26 #8 hot side and a k27 57 trim compressor
It starts coming on at 3300 rpm thru 8000 rpm and has pulled 31.7 lbs boost on pump gas on a 2.0 L VW tall block w/1.8t heads. Cars rips from 4800-8000 where I have to back off due to hyd. lifters but is very fast with a 6 speed and 4.11 gears. I think this car is a bit extreme, but a k24/k26 would be the nuts up to about 415hp and would come on much earlier. Depends on the total hp you want as to what you size your turbo. I think mine is the minimum I would go for 500 crank hp. The rs2 turbo may be good for 430hp if pushed. Depends on what you want and if you want it down low you dont get it up high and vice versa. This has been my experience anyway.

The RS is a better turbo. Full boost on a 1.8L at 3500 rpms and guys w/ the APR S3+...
are running 12.0's @ 117 mph on 100 octane with the new stage 3+. They are really performing very, very well. The S3+ for the B6 A4 also puts down some very serious power on race fuel (over 300 whp).
