Default I had warranty replacement denied because they said I had bent the strut...

I never saw the damage though, just a lot of oil.

yeah it's bent right in the center. That and the drivers inner cv joint is way off center. Gotta pay to play is guess :-/ I should be taking it out later this week. I'm not gonna throw it out so you can snap away mister gadget.

Default I'm trying to understand "the center is bent?"

I have 2 shocks I need to get replaced this week. h&r coilover. I'll be dammed if I have to pay 325 a shock and get denied warranty.

How do you bent a shock? I'm thinking maybe getting airbourne or something. Which I have never done.

I have already replaced 1 rear one.
Hmm..if you have a pic that would be great.

Default Airborne..

..is right. The shock housing is bent in the (approx) center. There's no visual indentation but the arc can be seen. The springs and the collars appear to be fine. I should get pics up late to early next week.
