Need some help since there's a diverter valve, I'm not sure how it should be installed.

is to block the by pass valve by caping the vacum host of the bpv and make a new bracket adaptor in the middle of the hose between the intercooler and intake and get the vacum from the FPR, then your car will never have problems.

It's usually not recommended, as you will run too rich with a blow-off valve.

Why don't you search this forum (warning you have to use google to do it) or just look down this page and the one before. There are 3 or 4 BOV questions, including one where a fellow mentioned that a BOV may or may not have ruined his engine and required major repairs.
