Chips, which one to choose?...... and a few more q's.
Allright, I'm planning on chipping my A6 2.7T, but I'm not sure which one to go with. APR, Revo, or GIAC? I'm already going with a GIAC transmission chip, but I'm not sure what to go with for the engine. Price doesn't matter, but I want the most performance poosible, and it seems like GIAC has the least while APR and Revo make the most.
Also, is the bi-pipe kit from APR really worth it? Does it really do all the things that APR says it does?
Should I change anything else when I get the chip? Plugs, or anything else?
Does the car have 710N dv's stock, or do I need to get those? Those are the dv's everyone has been telling me to use.
Thanks, Brandon

I have heard about the GIAC being a good choice, but I can tell you from experience, that the APR is a blast. I have the 93 octane APR chip ($600) with a stock mode option ($150). It makes the car a hundred more times fun to drive. The bipipe is supposedly good, but all you really need is a smaco throttle body boot ($80) and there will be no worries about leaks. Other than LLtek D-BOV's and an intake, everything else in my engine is stock and runs beautifully. So you should be fine. Good luck,
Ryan
