Engine break in for max performance...

i agree with this method for the most part....

one other thing is to run the rpm up to the max level you want the engine to run at during the breakin period. engines broken in at low rpm tend not to want to rev freely later in their life.

been doing this since my 81 audi 4000..

i get in and fly. knock wood...I've never had engine problems. That audi was donnated 10 years and 150K miles later.

My allroad is the same.
