Default FMIC question, can you build a custom FM that does not require chip tuning...

I know, the SPP/ eurosport Z-flow does not.

I have the usual, K03 with chip, bpv, all the usual. I'm most likely going with a K04. Any suggestions would be great.

Default The evo fmic has been used with some chips without any changes.

I dont see why the Ractec would need any custom tuning either since the pressure drop is not all that much.

Default If you plan to go with a K04 then you might have to change chip tuners anyway.

GIAC has chips that are tuned for the K04 with or without a fmic.

Default sure...

most shouldn't require chip tuning.

However, greater gains can be had by running a chip with more ignition advance, which is why some people run a FMIC chip program. It's not necessary, but it makes more power.

There isn't a n-dbw FMIC chip, the ECU will adapt to lower IATs with more timing.
