Help: boxster brakes on a Cq with hub conversion to 5/112 (mounting bracket?)
Any info would be greatly appreciated in helping me figure out if infact I can put Boxster Calipers on a Coupe Quattro. Coupe quattro come with the g60 dual piston setup, like some other audis.
Bira has info to work boxster calipers with just about all the audi models, However there is nothing mentioned about the Cq. I have now Boxster brakes, Reason: I would like to run 16inch rims in winter.
So questions:
Is the strut assembly the same on the coupe quattro as other Audis with the dual piston g60 setup? And if so, would some one know if I can use those mounting brackets on the Cq.
Also will be doing a 5/112 conversion
So the major question is:
Is there a Bira I system setup I can use on My Coupe quattro that will be 5/112 bolt pattern and therefore the possibility to have the Audi A8 rotors.
Thanks for The replies

You would need to do a custom sized rotor and hat, but the RS2 bracket bolts right up. It should even accept the monoblock calipers. I would call Wilwood and see if they can do a custom set of rotors for you. If you go the BIRA route, you'll need to do a custom sized rotor and hat from Coleman. That adds a whopping $500-$600 on top of everything else. BIRA did do a one-off bracket for Brandon Hull's eS2 that accepted neu-S4 rotors, but they got shredded VERY quickly Greg can reproduce the brackets, but you still have to get a custom rotor done. I have been looking at this for the past year and a half, and there's no "cheap" way of doing it.
