Default How do you adjust the exhaust tips alignment?

I have a 2002 A4 1.8T QM. I just got the neuspeed cat back exhaust with downpipe installed last week. The day after it was installed I noticed that the left exhaust tip was hanging a little lower than the right one, and it was also a little too far to the right. I took the car back to the muffler shop that did the installation, and they put it back on the lift. The mechanic tried adjusting the small cross bar located before the two mufflers, but it didn't do anything. He finally said that it was just a slight defect in the way the exhaust was made.

Does anyone know if this is true or is there something that can be adjusted to align the tip correctly.

Default

you have to loosen the pipe clamps a bit and see if you can twist it into place
