I just reinstalled my shocks and Im trying to set everything up
I've got 450f/500R springs and custom bilstein shocks.
I just installed them today and everything felt fine when I drove it.
I measured the height of each wheel and this is what i've got.
FD 24 14/16
FP 24 10/16
RD 24 5/16
RP 24 8/16
so if the lowest corner (RD) is my baseline for the rear the PR needs needs 1/8 drop or about 68lbs of weight so to solve this I will mount my batt (and sub box on the street)on the passenger side
the front driver side is 1/4 higher then the FP so I need about 112 lbs on the driver side. well I'm 160 lbs so I'm a little off but not my much I'm sure when I relocate the batt and sub box to the passenger side it will change things a little.
I was nervous that the position of the spring holder on the shock might be throwing off the height but I think its all good.
so has anyone corner weighed their car? what did the weight distribution look like??

Have you tried messing with the ride-heights and re-weighing it? I know when we setup the FSAE car, we put it on scales, adjust a corner at a time and see how it looks. We can get it to be w/in 1lb or so of perfect L to R and Fore/Aft balance (or if we want to dial out under/over steer we can). Granted, 1/4" adjustment on that is a whole lot more than on a B5tq, but the same concept applies. Thats what "coil-overs" are for ;-)
Oh, also, how much fuel was in your tank? I was told to weigh it with 1/2 tank when I messed with corner weighting on the CQ.

i've got 1/2 a tank. and I dont have coilovers.
but I can move how the spring perch sits and that is like a micro adjust but a total pain in the ***. I've not had the car on a scale yey just wnat to know what i can expect when i do throw it on.
I'm just a little nervious that if if I have a heavy passanger it will drop my front pumper into the danger zone, less then 4 inches
