Impressions of H&R Coilovers non-ultra (A4) - Better mod than chipping (more)...
Lowered 37mm Front, 35mm Rear from stock A4.
Ride is much stiffer, and highway driving is a bit uncomfortable from stock. Car bounces around a little as expected.
But let me say that the handling is very nice, even with my all seasons! It has minimal to no body roll and it rides so much better at high speeds.
The car is more neutral in handling with a tad of understeer. A stiffer anti-roll bar in the Rear would eliminate that or add some oversteer(depending on stiffness).
Couple of notes:
Car is low, I might need to raise if I add 225 tyres. I think i will wait and see if I get any rubbing before I do that.
A good buy definitely, but I do have to try my friends A4, Neuspeed/Bilstein, to compare the two.
and finally...Man does the stock suspension suck!

Glad to hear you like them. I assume that everything went smoothly at Mark Motors?
How much of a gap do you have between your tires and fender? Can't wait to see your car next time we get together.

I am glad that I did not get the Ultra Set. I would of found the spring rate and dampening too
stiff for my liking. If I get a chance I will add the 19mm rear sway.
but I need new wheels+tyres first!!!
