KO4 turbo upgrade
I have a 2001 A4 1.8t quattro, with a tiptronic transmission. I am looking to get the KO4 turbo upgrade, and I was wondering what other things I will have to get to make this work s efficiently as possible. I know I'll need to get a front mount and an exhaust and I was wondering what the best way to go is based on performance.

where do you live?
When I lived up in the NE.. I was able to get away with just K04 and ECU...(exhaust/downpipe helped). That was it.. and the car was used at DEs.
Since moving to S. FL... I'll be added a FMIC and possbily test pipe to help reduce the intake and EGT.
So, pending on the program/location, you can get away with very minimal mods besides K04 and ECU.
