Default MTM chip with ECM for 2001 TT 225 hp $750 for both chip and ECU

I have a 2002 TT 225 hp so I can't use this MTM chip with ECU which is specifically for a 2001 TT 225 hp. Anyone interested? I've got the part number so you can make sure it matches your ECU.

Default 5.6 without any other mods

I haven't used this particular chip since it does not match with my 2002 TT 225 hp. If it did, I obivously wouldn't be selling it. I'm part of the medical team for the races at Sebring where Audi has headquarters for the Audi Driving Experience and pretty much everybody in Audi and their techs agree that MTM is the best chip out there with honest, reliable, smooth power. I read somewhere it clocks 5.6 0-60 but I cannot confirm or deny this.

Default Audi and audi techs are going to tell you that because

MTM is the tuner for Audi. Any manufacture is going to tell you that their tuner is best.

Default Don't think so. Ask anyone that has driven with the different choices

Read the reviews. The power curve is much smoother and consistent with MTM. Bottom line, you get what you pay for.

Default I can vouge for MTM gen II ECU as the best for my 2001 TTRQ

the rest of the chips are sitting in my garage shelf - one of them in an ECU I use to swap the MTM out when I bring to the dealer in case they "confiscate" the ECU.

I'd buy the 5.6 0-60 too I believe I can hit high 13's with this chip and air filter mod. Something to do later. Too bad the roadster weighs a ton - or make that 2

Default GIAX X chip 225TT was smoking a A4 stage 3 at the TT event on the east coast

Which puts the X chip in the 13's easy. From what I understand a X chipped 225TT here in Socal runs mid 13's.

Default Re: Audi and audi techs are going to tell you that because

MTM is not "the tuner" for Audi. Audi has its own tuner division, quattro gmbh, the developer of the RS cars. Roland Mayer, the second "M" in MTM was an engineer for Audi, and does have a close relationship with the factory, which helps greatly in developing his engine tuning products. But Abt also enjoys a good relationship with Audi from what I hear. I have the MTM chip in my 2000 A6 2.7T and can vouch for its excellence in that application. I can also vouch for the tremendous product support you get from Joe Hoppen Motorsport.

Remember, a chip is only as good as its driver
