Default does it disappear when you slightly apply gas or apply brake while turning?

If gas, then could be CV joint - if the noise is coming from the axle opposite the turn direction (i.e. turn left and noise on the right axle).

If brakes make it disappear, then could be something loose in the brakes, or bearing. Lugs tight?
