Need Help Deciding between Chips
Got a sad story, recently totalled my 99.5 2.8Q. The insurance gave me some money back, so im gonna get a 99.5 1.8t because i want to do some mods this time. This first thing i want to put in is a chip. I am not sure which one to go with. I think i've narrowed it down to GIAC and APR. Ive hear the GIAC is a bit more powerful, but consequentially it puts more strain on the turbo. I heard the APR is a bit smoother but not as powerful. So let me know what you think. Also, If anyone has any charts showing SAE horsepower or torque comparing the two chips, that would be great.
