Oil change..
I read a post not too long ago that someone didn't want to change their oil themself because they didn't feel that the drain and refill method was a good one. Something about it leaves too much dirty oil in the motor.
I wasn't even aware that there is another method? Do dealers and oil change places do the oil change a different way? Just curious cause my 5k service is up and I'm going to change the oil myself and do the filter and all, unless the dealer has something that I don't.

Performance comments...
That person didn't know anything. Do it yourself, and use a full-synthetic Mobil1/redline/amsoil, etc. and a real audi spec filter (mann, etc. Black). Use the appropriate weight 5w30 for best performance.

In addition...
Drive it hard before you change it so the oil will be hot and jack the car up on the drivers side to get most of it out since the drain plug head faces the passenger side.
