After doing the chip, filter and exhaust upgrades on my new 2001 A4 1.8, what kind of gas mileage can I expect? The wife is driving 30-45 miles a day. I've seen everything else but that question posed..........What makers would you recommend for those upgrades?.. Had to ask.. thanx Bronco73

I've read post that claim after a chip you can actually get better gas mileage.....if you drive it normal. However, the power is there when you want it. I think that a less restrictive air filter and a less restrictive exhaust would also add a little better mileage, so my guess is if you drive it right you can get a slight increase over stock, but if you drive it fast you'll be using a lot more gas.
