Default Possible Throttle problem??

Experiencing engine stutter in all gears, (2nd and 3rd the worst) all around the same rpm (3k-4k). Under WOT no stutter, but at 1/4 throttle position is where I experience it the most.

No error codes or CEL's.

Ideas?

MAF replaced, running GIAC xchip. I have a new N75 that I will be putting in shortly but I don't think that is the problem since it does not seem to be a boost issue.

Default Re: Possible Throttle problem??

Perhaps a leaking blow off valve (diverter valve?)?

Default I had similar symptoms... did the Throttle Adaptation... and *poof* problem disappeared.

Now slow acceleration is smooth.

Default I tried.

Was told to leave the key in the ignition for 3min and it will adapt. Nothing happened.

Default This MAY be the correct procedure... but not sure. I use the VAG-COM (see inside)

Oops, forgot: I also redid my throttle adaptation...

After I returned to NorCal, I redid my throttle adaptation by disconnecting the negative ground on my battery for 15 minutes. After reconnecting, I put the key in the ON position for 5 minutes.

I'm not sure when I redid the throttle adaptation, but it was probably the day after the 104+, and before switching to Shell gas.

Let me know if that works...
