pulled tranny today to find my pressure plate cracked in half...

Default pulled tranny today to find my pressure plate cracked in half...

any suggestions of my route from here. i had a stage 3 spec clutch and pressure plate that is supposed to handle "450hp" but not sure if im going back to them. also were can i get i nice flywheel but not a lightened one? thanks

Default one of the techs at my job.....

it was installed properly. i launched the car fri. night at about 4800-5k after that the car was somewhat disabled

Default can only engage gear if start with the car in gear......

and can only shift at low rpm.

Default OK, I had the same problem...

dumped the clutch at 5000 RPM, then couldn't disengage the clutch anymore.

I can shift though, it's easier if you rev match, but I've only got ~20K miles on the synchros in my trans which is probably why mine works better.

Although, after ~150 miles of highway driving, it started working again. I'm still going to take it apart, but I need to do some work to my daily driver first.

Got any pics of the pressure plate?

Default YGM, enjoy the pics......

i emailed them to spec to see if they can help me out at all. i doubt though. the clutch is not even a year old and breaks after 1st hard launch.

I was on the fence about getting one but Im glad that I did. The car is very drivable.
