Default stock programs use the air mass as the limiting factor.

at cold temperatures the car gets the max airmass perscribed by the program at lower boost.

the program doesnt necessarily limit boost, it limits air mass.

Default The only max reading for the MAF is the setting it can read.

Does not matter if it is stock chip, chip or upgraded turbo. I ran the stock Audi chip with my 2 liter and a K04.


You must understand that everyone is reading boost levels in the intake manifold which is in direct contact with vacuum made by each cylinder. PSI also drops as air temps drop, so a colder air charge will show lower psi inside the intake manifold even though the same amount of air is being moved.

BTW if the maf reads colder air temps the readings go up and more fuel is added.
