RaceTec FMIC intake temp testing results....
Did some pulls with the Racetec FMIC. Runs from about 15 mph in 2nd gear to the top of 4th (6500 rpm).
After the pull, it took 4-5 SECONDS for intake air to cool back down to the starting temperature. Peak temp rise after the 3 gear pull at WOT was 21 degrees!
I repeated this 3 times, with the same results. Cruising temps average 10-12 degrees above ambient.
So far, this sucker is working well!
Notes for camparison:
K04, non DBW, average WOT boost 18 psi.
Anyone know what the compressor outlet temps might be on a K04 at these boost levels? Want to see just how much cooling the FMIC is doing.
