recommendation for a cold air intake?

Default my buddy has that on his 180TT...not a bad lookin and i guess performing piece....

im making a intake similar to the dahlback one, and a home brew heatshield, id like to make the tubing go right into the area between fire walls but i dont know if i realy want to hack my car that much, plus that would prob be realy loud for the passenger compartment, it would essentialy be blowing off right at the passenger through the intake.

Basic parts lists..

X-3096-B from www.injenonline.com
Find yourself a 2.5" intake pipe from ebay or buy exhaust piping. Mine was 3" intake for a honda.. bit of a tight fit for the 2 3/4" elbow..
and a 3" 90 PVC elbow was needed because my intake pipe only had one 90 bend..
Finally, depending on the diameter you used you either need a 3" ID filter.. or a 2.5"

Mine here is a bit ghetto in that I used the OD of the filter to cram it into the 3" PVC elbow, holds pretty well though.
