how is the idle (smooth?) / power delivery (linear?) / power gains (HP/Trq) / more.........
are they avalible in a roller lifter config?

Benefit? Yes. Expensive to install? Yes.
For NA (non-Turbo) engines, Cams are typically one of the largest power boosts if not the largest.
They aren't cheap, and generally going to a very aggressive cam will make your car less driveable on the street. But there are plenty of steps in between.

20V aggressiveness limited, also...
Hiya,
The aggressiveness of the intake profile on the 20V is limited, due to the fact the Audi has packed 3 intake valves in the same space as two.
Schrick has an excellent reputation for smoothness and power (as has been pointed out, German quality), you can't go wrong.
Install (from my 16V experience) is about 4 hours.
Remember, also, that unlike a swappable ECU, a boost/fuel controller, etc. it is difficult to "undo" the effect of cams if you have to deal with emissions testing. If the profile allows too much overlap, your emissions test will fail the hydrocarbon for certain.
