Yeah, the 45 degree wall, even if small, would likely help to divert the path smoothly.

Default Your kind of comparing two different issues.

Its hard to compare the effects of reducing x-sectional area and increasing turbulence. Don't forget that even if you had gone with a mandrel bent downturn pipe, it would still have turbulence.

Default holy turbulent flow batman....

dude...do something in there to smoothe that bad boy out. You don't want exhaust gases SLAMMING into a wall like that. That may hurt your spool time in the end.

Default thanks xr4tic, your project inspired me to do mine :)

software, i am running bigger matched injectors with maf housing. i ran like that for few months on stock turbo and fuel trim was pretty much ok.

the bigger inject + maf house is good for 350hp crank, and since i am planing to run with maf, i got the split sec maf siglan manupulating thingy, to fine trim the fuel.

i may run problems with overboosting, but hope that apr k03 chip that i have will overlook those problems..

i know kineticmotorsport is doing exactly what i am doing in terms of software and they got 15psi to redline making 275WHP (limit of T28), so i am feeling optimistic.

Default yea, we would need to take it to the lab and start measure to see or come up with the relation...

for this particular angle - all a waste of time .
