Stasis Engineering Track Sport Suspension - Should I pull the trigger?
#2
Yes. Pull the trigger.
I've had my car for almost 5 years, and for 4 years of that time I hated my suspensions. A year ago, I bought the STaSIS Track Sport suspension, and I am happy with my car's handling now. I configured it with the sport valving on the shocks, and 500# front springs, 550# rear springs. After taking it to the Glen for 2 days last summer, I decided the spring rates weren't enough, and upgraded to 550# front and 700# rear springs this spring. The handling balance is perfect now. All it took was a minor tweak of front rebound damping to dial it in exactly as I wanted. (I'm also running a 19mm Neuspeed rear sway bar.)
The only drawback to STaSIS is price...but you've done enough research to know that.
The areas that really impress me in working with STaSIS: 1. Service. They really go out of their way to make sure you get your car exactly as you want it, and to sell you the right parts. 2. Knowledge. They know what they're doing with tuning a suspension, and why they're doing it. If you want to know how to make the rear-end more lively under trail-braking, ask 'em -- they'll tell you what to adjust. There's no guesswork. 3. Customization. You knew this one already too, but you have your choice of two different valvings on the shocks, and totally custom spring-rate choices.
Good luck. I don't think you can go wrong with this choice.

I have Stasis Tracksports (sport valving) 600F/750R with a 19mm Neu bar on hard.
It just takes some time dialing in the rebound to your needs.
I drilled up into the engine bay to adjust the fronts and cut with a die grinder slits in the shock towers to adjust the rears.

Sorry for the crazy slow response -- life stopped for the ALCS!
I'm at 6 sweeps in the rear, 1 1/2 turns in the front. At just a 1/2 turn in the front, the car was loose on turn-in, and pushed on track-out. Obviously, this is all dependent on driving style, track, etc... My latest adjustments were at Lime Rock and the Glen. BTW, I've got the Neuspeed bar set on "soft" for the time being.
