Default Stasis VS Porsche Brakes?? Which is Better??

<center><img src="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/images/product/brakes/ECS-Stage5MKIV/BeautyShot-400x300.jpg"></center><p>
In a bang for your bucks (or stop for your bucks) the Porsche kits from ECS are way out front ie 6 piston Porsche Brakes for almost $900 less than the Stasis Motorsport Brakes at $2995.

Is 6 Piston Brakes overkill?

Have searched and found no real data to make an educated buy - does anyone have a link in thier tool box?

What do the wise of the tunning forum suggest?

Thank you for your time

Maybe he just means more brake than he needs with added weight compared to 320mm-332mm BBK.

Default Right - Is the added unspung weight worth the braking performance?

The key to racing and cornering is light weight.

Will the added weight of the brakes make up for the new braking performance of the vehicle esp when a four piston set up could do the same job on the track with less weight?

Does the Stasis brake package out perfom that of Porsche?

go with a brembo/stoptech/alcon kit. Off the shelf, easy to get parts for.

Default My sig also shows a TT Quattro 1.8T - Nice Alba Sig =)

Want to use the TT for track and targa.

So would the 6 pot brakes be beyond the capability of the Suspension and Tyres?

Or Would the 4 pot brake system be enough?

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/40674/dcp_3581.jpg"></center><p>well, I did...
oh, and they are great!

Could had some pads that handle heat better, cause they DO get really hot. but, never faded on me yet.
(I have an brake-abusive drivingstyle and lots of power though)

I agree, they make a ligher weight 4-piston kit that also fits. Works great for racing applications
