Default Thinking about Toulene as an octane booster...got a few questions.

Has anyone here used this stuff and how did it work for you? Will it damage the engine or any related parts? Also, does anyone know where I can get it in Los Angeles? TIA. Oh yeah, how much of it should I mix with a 14-15 gallons of gas?

Default You need to get it from a automotive paint suppy company. No one sells it here in CA from the shelf.

I used it and put 1 gallon in per tank. But it cant replace 100+ octane race fuel.

Do they work? Looks like no new data from early this year.

Default Octane boost....

Are you having pinging problems? Octane boost will help solve those. If you aren't, octane boost will not help you. In fact, it can cost HP. On my Cobra, I dynoed with and without octane boost and found the octane boost cost me 30 RWHP. Unless you're having problems with pinging/retardation or are running a chip that is tuned for higher octane, I don't think you'll gain anything by running a booster.
