Default mine was the same way....

supposed to hold up to the power, never did. Got sent another one (eventually) but the pressure plate was stock (supposedly one out of the "bad batch")

Default If you can afford. The Sachs racing FW/Clutch and PP hold 650 lb ft and last, but over 2k$ for setup

This held 500hp/550lb ft on my car (URS4) and fit the s4 and the A4, my current a4 will have 1 with a rs2 tranny and LSD rear. This puppy holds forever and is very good 2 drive, almost regular pedal effort and super hold. I could do 6000 rpm launches with a 3800lb car forever without issues. Do a favor and replace master and slave cylnder when replacing and save some money tho. PITA to pull the tranny more than necessary. I know since I had 2 pull 3 times in a week on a SPEC clutch FUBAR before I found out what cheap really means.

Default Is there more than one type of Sachs Racing pressure plates?

That's what I have in my car now, ~2300lb unmodified.

The flywheel shouldn't be a big deal, mine is an APR lightweight flywheel, made by Mueller Fabrications, which supplies other companies with the same flywheel.

I think the important thing is the clutch disk, and having it setup properly. Properly being the key word.

Default Update: Spoke to Eddie and he's going to take care of me.

We're going to try a DXD-F model. I'll have to go through the PITA of R&R'ing it, but he's going to exchange the F model for my current one straight up.

He is also interested in hearing about any issues anyone else might be having with the DXD, such as the squealing.

Default Not completely happy with mine either. Squeels, vibrates under light load and holding could be a...

bit better. Arghh. Cheers! Mike
