Default Vacuum line for BPV. . .

MUST it come from the valve under the intake manifold (part # 026-906-283A) or can i tap the vacuum line from somewhere else (like the vacuum line in the front of the manifold that is easier to access). This is asuming that i close off the nipple on the valve that is normally used. BIG TIA

Default What good is that going to do?

vacume is vacume it all comes from the intake manifold.

The line at the front of the intake manifold feeds the valve under there with vac/pressure. The non dbw setup used that spot to run only the bpv.

good point. it won't help at all. Let's just say it broke. . .and one of my a$$hole friends won't pay up. I was able to close off the valve. So i tapped the other vacuum line. Just making sure there aren't any sensors that i messed up. thanks.

Just check to make sure it does not cause any DTC's.
