Default what is the max.hp a A41.8T Automatic transmision can hold?

I want to get a bigger turbo but I was to be sure not to overwhelm the automatic trans.
any one know the max HP of a A4 1.8T?
and where can I find a better transmision?

Default It can hold up to 260hp (Stage 3 Sport?)

There is someone here who has about 275 on hip tiptronic being produced by a K16, I saw it beat an M5! But the problem he had was that it had to be shifted manually (tip mode). RPI has a 260 hp A4 which is running fine, I myself am doing a project passat and with the help of 8vturbo.com will put a decent turbo to produce a true 250hp, the turbo is capable of much more but I will limit the pressure off using a Fuzzy Logic Boost Controller where it will elarn how to adjust the boost to the engines power, if I don't control it with Fuzzy Logic then the big turbo will not be efficient, a Turbodyne T-25 is what I have in mind, nevertheless it is capable of 22 lbs of boost. That's my .02 if you want a large turbo. You can work out a deal for less than the $3000 stage III.

HP is largely irrelevant. All torque.

Default The same basic transmission sits behind a w-12...

But I don't know if those transmissions have additional disks in the clutchpacks or other internal mods to handle the stress.
