Default Woot! MTM Stage 3 is back installed and back from the ceramic shop...

The little K04 is back in and the car is back boosting like a little devil at 3000rpms. Damn I missed my baby.

I have to give a special thanks to A-1 Auto and A-1 Custom Exhaust of Seminole, Florida for having absolutely zero problems experimenting with the gt28r on my car and ceramic coating my manifold, turbo, and cat. These guys are top notch and their labor rate is only about $60/hour.

The ceramic coating looks awesome and should not only aid in exhaust flow, but also reduce the underhood temperatures. I will be installing the aluminum sticky cool barrier next week.

The car runs awesome and even peaking 28psi, I just ran logs and have absolutely ZERO timing retard on all cylinders. You gotta love it.

Educate me: ceramic exhaust coating helps with exhuast flow because it keeps it hot? Or am I wrong?

Default If you can believe advertising...

At the very least it seems to keep the heat in the exhaust track where it should be. Heres a link...

http://www.jet-hot.com.au/</a

Default coating helps keep the enginebay cooler....

on a turbo'd motor, it helps keep exhaust heat energy in the turbine side of the turbo. This heat energy helps spin the turbine

Default Yeah, it supposedly keeps the velocity up by preventing..

heat escape.
