Default x post A4 board: Here are my compression test numbers.

Cylinder 1

178 psi

Cylinder 2

185 psi

Cylinder 3

193 psi

Cylinder 4

185 psi

I ran the first compression test cold (to see if things weren't sealing with a cold engine) and got the same numbers as those posted above (+/ - 2 psi) in each cylinder, then I ran a compression test with the car nice and warm and got the numbers I have posted. Cylinder 3 is seems slightly high. I infact ran it several times and it wanted to shoot up to 200 psi each time and bled down to about 192-195 psi each time after both 10 and 15 minutes intervals. I'm still getting my vintage smoke screen, so oil is burning from somewhere, It pretty much has to be PCV or the turbo. Thoughts?

Default smoke screen

My TDI smoked really bad one night, I found that the crankcase breather was iced up (north Dakota), and the pressure was building up forcing oil into the combustion chamber. try unhooking your pcv and go for a spin, note that you might get a little oil spray.
