Default paging..... lemieux@curbside..... brake question:

Did you use the pads designed for the 350mm rotor (Porsche p/n 955 351 939 14) or for the 380mm rotor (Porsche p/n 955 351 939 50) on your front setup? I assume the earlier but just wanted to confirm.

Default pads are designed for the calipers.. the rotor size depends on the pisiton of the caliper

on the upright and the distance from the center of the hub . Cayenne has 2 style pads both work but they ones fro the turbo model is what i'm using.

Default okay,,, I thought all the calipers were the same (black, silver, red),,, I didn't realize that there

was a difference in piston sizes.... I have a set of blacks and a set of silvers that I got yesterday so these would both have been 350mm from Porsche? I was just concerned about the pad shape if it was designed for a larger rotor not making the proper contact patch if being used on a smaller rotor....

What about Toureg or Q7 pads? Would they work as well? Same caliper correct? They seem to be ~$55 less for the set ($200 vs $145) in Pagid.

Default Alex, Do you have a few moments to talk on the phone regarding braking options?

I have been working on this and have a 2 piece rotor option that ends up with the same offset and left right clearences as the 430 rotor, but need to pick you brain about the ring size and how much clearance the caliper actually has.
