Hi can anyone please help How to unlock VIM in my 2018 Q3. I have both VCDS latest and VCP 5.5.1(cracked), I checked ZDC files of VCP but it doesn't have one specifically for Q3. One for A1 RMC VIM is available, can someone confirm that A1 RMC is compatible with Q3 ? Any one here can help to activate VIM through VCDS?

I was able to get VIM on my 2015 Q3 using VCDS.
Let me dig out my notes for the steps.

Try this:
[5F - Information Electr.] [Advanced ID - 1A] Note 1st Serial number

[Security Access] Enter Digits 6, 13, 10, 14, 11 of the 1st Serial number

[Adaptation - 10] -> Channel 48

Set to 255

Reset MMI

Serial number: 200BZ0F7531699

Security code: 09391

I tried steps you mentioned but unfortunately there is no Serial No. row in Advanced ID - 1A but I managed to unlock it using Vag Com Pro.

Just follow tutorial available on youtube for VCP VIM unlock and use Audi A1 RMC ZDC file , It will work on Audi Q3 too. Atleast worked on mine Q3.

is the serial number same for all model? I am not able see any serial number through VaG COM VCDS! Any help specific to Q3 2018!
