Love the Cayenne! My father has a 2008 Turbo. I love driving it when I see him. I would love to take the 2011 out for a spin.

The Cayenne is very nice; particularly the V8 variants. The new one's are even better.

MT's award doesn't mean too much to me as I consider them to be the least objective of the mainstream car mags

I think Motor Trend is dead on with this pick, it is by far the best re-design SUV of 2011.

Just don't own one without a warranty. I heard from Porsche mechanics that it's quite a piece to work on.

Originally planning on get a 2011 Q5 2.0t for my wife. We have a '10 Q7 TDI and she loves it. But it's my DD. Then I test drove the 2011 Cayenne S, couldn't wait for the Hybrid. Ordered one right there. Will be here after Thanksgiving. Love the handling, the exterior styling is better than the last gen, but it's the interior that sold me. I think they out-do the Panemera on the interior. Very nice, I prefer it over the Panemera's interior.

New Cayenne is a stunner, no doubt. But Porsche has a way of bundling the options one wants with others one doesn't, and they get pricey in a hurry. The V6 is a very good move to hit the price point at base MSRP. My Porsches all were really very dependable........but as with most German cars, out of warranty repairs and parts are very dear.

I would love a 335d or a S4 or some thing smaller, but alas business needs and section 179 requires a big brute. Was contemplating the X5 35d, but for the price and the Audi interior, I went with the Q7. :-)
