Picked up the Q5 yesterday. Bunch of highs and lows but loving it so far. Couldn't get the hitch installed because there is a slight change between 2013 and 2014 underneath where the hitch bolts on. Mine is a 2.0T and it came with a removeable plate for the factory hitch. I had a curt hitch but will be going with a draw tite that bolts on to a different area. Long story short the installer drilled through my battery. Bummer city and my wife is still chewing my ear off for not being more diligent and watchful over what he was doing. She said the car has a hole in it and lost its virginity. They replaced the battery with an auto parts store one and will order an audi one ASAP. Install and cost of new hitch is free but it definitely messed up what was a beautiful day yesterday.
85 miles so far and the Cuvee is very attractive. I always turn back when I walk away. The pride of ownership is a powerful thing. Been driving in sport mode and was able to open it up a bit, maxing out at 65. It gets to speed surprisingly quick--all if the sudden you are over the speed limit.
Tune2air works like a charm in my non nav mmi. Once I press media it automagically starts google play music and works flawlessly with google navigation. When there are spoken directions the music fades out, the directions are read, then the music fades back in. I don't even need to look down at my phone. Music controls work on the steering wheel. Also another thing to note is the non nav mmi has HD radio.
I scheduled my Xpel ultimate and 3M crystalline install for this Friday. Getting full hood, full fenders, rear bumper, front, lights, and rockers for the Xpel ultimate. Crystalline will go on all glass 90% on front windows, windshield and panoramic sunroof. They said dark tint could lead to the sunroof shattering. 70% on rear and hatch. They will probably take oics for their website so I'll post a link.
Pictures to come shortly once I get on a computer.

Thanks for the pictures. The true color of Cuvee is so hard to capture in pictures. I took a few of ours and finally gave up. Each shot looked a little different and yet none of them seemed to pick up the true color.

We have a 2014 Q5 TDI in Cuvee Silver on order (mid October delivery). I cannot get over the above indoor photo. Does the color look like that to your natural eye, or is it a camera / indoor fluorescent lighting color distortion. It looks gold color.
Also please give us your impressions of the film protectant wrap, especially whether you can you see a difference between treated vs non-treated surfaces in terms of color or gloss.
Give us a photo of your hitch install from a below the bumper view.
Best of luck to you. Enjoy.

Looks like the problem was google+ auto enhance on this pic which bumped up the gold tones. I'll reupload. It was also directly under a fluorescent light so the white balance is a little weird. I have a different angle too but I have to resize and edit out the plate. My wife doesn't want our plates out on the internet. She has ocd/paranoia. God bless her.

Here are some more indoor shots. I'll take hitch shots on Tuesday, hopefully. I'll post some height measurements as well. Picking up Xpel job on Saturday.
Cheers!

I've also noticed slight variations in the color of the entire car in different lighting conditions. it's certainly not gold though.
