Default 2014 Q5 rear hatch lights.

Hi,

I'm wanting to get the rear hatch lights off our Q5 . I've been having a hard time finding a how-to.

Could someone please point me in the right direction? I've seen several videos for accessing the read bumper lights but have come up empty handed for this.

Thanks!

Do not pay attention on useless posts, you do not need any "plastic shim tools"

there are two small openings in the bumper , one under each rear reverse light assembly
push them open with your finger or a plastic tool
then you will find deep inside a phillips screw on a 45 degree angle.
unscrew it. then the complete light assembly will slide out. VOILA.
then each bulb socket is held in place by a quarter turn bayonet like motion

that its

this is the reverse light connection

Thank you, this was exactly what I was looking for!

Others: Note I asked for the hatch lights, not the bumper lights. Thank you for your time, though!
