That's why I've made the point about customization on every survey I've gotten from Audi or JD Power (have gotten several) on my 3.0T and I'm posting it on this forum - I'd like to think they want our feedback on such things.

I have contacted a few dealers and they have stated that it is going to cost thousands of dollars in labor to install the inlays. I find that hard to believe. How hard is it to swap the inlays out? Do they just pop off or is there more work that needs to be done? How do the new ones attach (just snap in place?)

... If you're already taking apart the car to put in a new stereo system. ;-)
and then the clips were still a pain. No idea how it compares on the Q5, but FYI based on my experience...
