2015 Q5 TDI hesitation and throttle cut-out
I have a 2015 TDI with about 85K on it. It had the emissions fix about 10K miles ago. For the last 5K miles or so I have been getting what I thought was increasing turbo lag but now it will intermittently not go when I step on the accelerator then surge forward. Its hard to describe. It also threw a code once and put me in limp mode. I had to pull over. Turn off the engine. Started it back up and the error went away. I did do a scan and will post the fault later when I get home. Its getting worse and worse. I did a bit of digging. Someone mentioned a possible HPFP failure in the making. This combined with the ****ty gear shifting from the modifications make the shifting pretty bad.
Does anyone have any experience with these symptoms?
I read the 4/48K emissions warranty should cover whats going on. IDK? Thoughts?

The fault code/limp mode evidence should be helpful as you seek to identify and remedy the issue. It’s hard evidence for your dealer and Audi of America, if it comes to that. The dieselgate warranty covers everything related to engine, emissions, AND ECU, which includes throwing codes.

Have you tried the throttle / transmission reset? It has helped some folk.
