Default 21" OEM SQ5 WHEELS

I found a really good deal on Craig list for a set of 295/40/21 tires. Will this fit on OEM 21" SQ5 wheels? I went to www.willtheyfit.com but i don't speak tire. Can someone please provide guidance?
Please pardon my ignorance to this subject. I did do a search and couldn't find an answer to my exact question. Thanks.

No.
Tire too wide for 9 inch rim,
Tire too tall to fit under the upper control arm

Agreed, we just installed 265-40s and it's a tight fit... it works, but I would not push it more than that.

I now have a 255/40/r21 tire on all 4. Do you think i will be okay with a 20mm spacer in the rear and 15mm in the front?

I know a lot of people do spacers but I'm not going to do that but that's just me.

You'll be fine. Just be prepared for more dirt splashing up from the wider track.
