Hello I would like your opinion to know if you believe a Q5 2014 3.0T would be able to pulled a closed reminder weighing 1200 pounds (6'x10 '), loaded with a motorcycle Harley Davidson FLHTK 900 pounds, towing capacity of the Q5 3.0T is 4800livres and the distance to be traveled would be from montéal to the foride 3000km approximately are you think that I would have mechanical modification made for not broken the truck if someone has already made a similar experience me the shared please.

I have not towed with our SQ5 yet, but after repeatedly towing a 1000lb trailer with 1000lbs of cargo in colorado altitude with a rav4 V6 3.5l, the TRANSMISSION was the problem, the engine was up to the task but the transmission was struggling/smelling after a while (15-20 uphill miles, still got the job done...)... so, the engine/torque is fine, imo. The transmission/repetitive gear changing is what may be the determining factor but you wont be climbing much, so as long as you keep a reasonable avg speed im guessing you will be ok....

kidrx8 relaxe le ZF8 is a very robust generally trouble-free transmission. My Tdi has a transmission cooler from the factory and I suspect your 3.0LT does as well.Aucun probleme.Vastant en Floride.La plage t'attend.

Q5 3.0 L TDI tow rating is 4,400# , about 2,000 KG. Data is in the owners manual.
