The Hawk pads have good stopping power but are just as bad on the brake dust. It's got a red tint to it and if you go more than a week without washing they are coated.
I bought them specifically for the stopping power and less dust. I wouldn't rec'd Hawk now.
I'm going to wait until it's time for a rotor change and try something else. Not sure what tho. I'd love to go with slotted rotors and any great stopping brake pad with low dust. I don't even care if they're ceramic anymore.

Maybe you misunderstood, it doesn't make the lights less amber, it prevents that little side marker in the headlight from illuminating for a cleaner look. Its a cheap alternative to buying e-codes I suppose. That picture, however, is to demonstrate the difference in temperature between stock fogs and the Xenonmatch fogs
