I take it back spijun ---
I misjudged your English comprehension skills....
I'll try again without the nuance....
The stupid comment inferred that Audi's manual said even to change the bulbs, we should bring it back to Audi...
it's AS IF Audi was saying WE, the owners, cannot change a light bulb ...
You understand now ?

I have not mention anywhere Audi maual
It is true that a little more complicated to change than ordinary light bulb xenon bulb H7 or H11 for a number of parts
That's why Audi has written in manual to be go to service to replace the bulb.
Price Xenon 173Eura (2-piece set) and therefore may write us to be go to service
I apologize if I misunderstood you because you've written:
"You are too stupid to swap bulbs in fine German Automobiles"
Sorry for my english

Went to do this procedure as outlined in your helpful diagrams, but I ran into a snag while doing the passenger lights. The air filter box is in the way of me getting my hands in to reach the cover for the light, I noticed in the diagrams it actually says I need to remove the air filter box, I don't supposse you could post up how to do that too?

I just read somewhere that it is indeed possible to retrofit the factory xenon headlights onto a halogen equipped q5. You need the factory headlights, the ballast, and a wire harness. The hardest part was routing the wire harness somewhere under the steering column and plugging it in somewhere. You also have o go into the coding and change some values to enable the DRL's and such. I stumbled onto that post somewhere else and forgot where though.
