I am trying to get the Google Maps I create on my web browser to import into the Q5. I have followed the instructions and when I go into Google maps and hit "send to phone" I see the option to send it to the car. The issue is that I immediately get an error stating "We were unable to send this destination. Please try again."

If I send it to my phone I can receive it...just not the car.

Anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong here?

Is your My Audi account activated and configured to receive online destinations?

More details. Account status is Active and I can send data via the Audi map. I deleted the google map link and reset it up and still get this error when I try to link from Google maps directly.

OK, operator error. I had created a set of directions, from point A to point B on my google maps and wanted to send that to the car. Once I just selected a single address I was able to send it with no issues.

Yes, you cannot send the routing directions. all you can send is points of interest / addresses.
