I'll tell you what. I've read the manual front to back at least twice and I do not remember seeing the bit about the gas door locking with the cars doors. However, I have heard it just as abacon stated. I am very glad it locks/unlocks like that.

Same here! The manual and I are on friendly terms, and I missed it. I knew about the pinhole....but nothing about locking gas door! That's why I like the forum...shared knowledge!
