New Type of Diesel Fuel in Southern California
A few weeks ago Propel started selling a Renewable (non-petroleum) Diesel fuel called HPR in SoCal. Has anyone used this in their Q5 TDI ?

The Propel HPR is not classified as a biodiesel fuel although it is made from bio feed stocks ( with a different process).
Audi recommends not using biodiesel grades higher than B5 ( 5%), but the HPR appears to pass their approval ( per internet dogma, but I have not seen it written anywhere).
Experience on the TDI forum over the last year ( NorCal) appears positive, cleaner running, less smoke, slightly less mpg. Only warning is to not mix it and higher levels of biodiesel together in the same tank ( particulates happen).
