q5 headlamp
Hi, drivers side daytime running light has gone and the main driving light when you switch on, starts a light orange colour then goes out completly. Every one is telling me i have to change the whole unit at a cost of £500 or can i just change the bulbs.

Maybe it's defective control unit for daytime running lights. It could replace the price is 130 EUR

If you have a code reader, it should throw a code if it doesn't work. This will help narrow down what it actually is. Both the HID lamp and the daytime LED lamps have separate controllers.
