Recently has this NOX sensor replaced under "TDI (Dieselgate) Warranty Extension"- No Charge- Vehicle had the Emissions FIX done in Feb. 2018 @ 74,000 kms
I'm surprised sensor went bad this soon- Can I expect further NOX sensor failures?
Anyone else seeing these fail early?

CEL- Scanned Code P229F- Audi test plan says to replace G687 NOX sensor 2- (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
Mileage in KMs- 82,000 kms
Part # replaced 8R0 907 807 Q - NOX sensor

Yes a1sailor it's a very common issue post fix.No one really knows why.I'm convinced that it's related to fuel used.I run strictly Petro Canada and am at 220k kms.never had a Nox sensor replaced.

Murray, that is great you have no failures at 220,000 kms. I read that CDN diesel is made to a high standard, what ever this really means. Quebec has 2 refineries and Ontario has 4, so not sure where it comes from for the product that I purchase. At this point I have no brand loyalty.
Our TDI warranty will help with these sensor replacements for a while after that runs out hopefully the part price comes down because they look fairly simple to replace.
