Q5 Tire Sizing for Peelers ?
Hi folks - I'm happily new here but looking forward to buying my first Q5 today. I wanted to add some 20" Peeler rims to complement my Daytona Gray paint (from the 18" stocks) but having trouble with sizing.
I believe 255/45/R20 is standard for most 20" rims on a Q5 but I think that's only with 8.5 width rims.
I saw a pair of Peeler's online that are 9x20 instead of 8.5x20 and was curious: 1) Would this still work? 2) Do I get the same 255/45/R20 tires or need a different width/aspect ratio?
Would this peeler work for my Q5 and what tire combination is recommended?
Looking forward to joining the community here and thank you in advance for any advice! I'll post pics when it arrives.
Thanks!
Max

When I see other 20" Peeler's for Q5's online I see these specs:
5x112 bolt pattern
20x8.5 offset 33
66.5mm centerbore
255/45/R20
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

I can't speak to the rims...
But. I did go from 255/45/20 tires to 265/45/20 on my stock 8.5" rims with no issues.
I have Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires on my SQ5...and they fit quite nicely.
So, I would consider that type of change if you go to a wider rim.

Looking back to the original post, FWIW I suspect those wheels are aftermarket. The part number at the end of the table is not like any standard Audi part #--for wheels or otherwise.
In turn replicas are a relative dime a dozen. If you want those, I would get a set from one of the brands Audi owners tend to be satisfied with. Like a Hartmann. Probably others out there too--I'm more an OE wheel guy so don't dwell on the aftermarket ones much. To go further, you would need to be more specific on what brand they are.
I think that offset (ET40) will push those wheels inward some in the fender area on a Q5. Whether it clears inner suspension in turn, I don't know but you would want to verify carefully. The size itself seems like sort of an aftermarket one size fits all punt too. For 9" wheels found on models like C7 S7 or D3 A8/S8 the offset would be a bit more aggressive, while on C7 A6/S6 probably somewhat less. Q5 in general follows the more aggressive offset grouping AFAIK.
