SQ5 2015 Sideview Camera Issues
Hi - New member with a 2015 SQ5 TFSI. The Side View Camera with the camera in the passenger mirror, when you are reversing and its pressed it faults all the cameras and you need to turn the car off for 5 minutes before the backing camerawill operate again.
All other features in the MMI still operate. Took it into audi, got all the fault codes but dont know what it means.... Fault Status 01101011

The "Fault status" is just that, a status of the actual fault code which you do not have. (I believe the fault status is given in binary.)
In shokhead's example the "fault code" would be 00858.
It is possible the fault status actually does means "open circuit", but you need the fault code to determine which connection has the open circuit.
If you have someone nearby with VCDS perhaps they can help you out in determining the actual fault code.
