Tracking of my Q5...
Well, got a email from my dealer saying that my Q5 is scheduled to arrive in Halifax this weekend.
I took a look at the Port of Halifax web site and I found a RORO vessel scheduled to arrive August 2nd at 6:48AM. It's the Elektra from the Wallenius Wilhelmsen Line company. It originated from the Bremerhaven port, in Germany.
The ship is currently somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.. can't wait for it to get nearer so I can track it!
Q5 is a 3.2FSI Premium, Nav, 19", ibis white on cinnamon with wood inlays.

The anticipation is a killer, eh? Always fun to follow any new purchase until it gets to your door. I'm bad enough when it's new computer parts from Newegg, can't imagine what I'd be doing if I had to wait on my Q5. I bought my wife a new car yesterday and it's being shipped from Northern California to Phoenix and I'm already getting antsy.

Cool, but what's in the Prestige pkg, we do not have it here (Canada)?

Hey, I thought all 2011 3.2 Premium+ was SLine as well. Is this not correct?
I'll also assume that Audi makes deliveries once a month and if that's the case, my new Q5 3.2 Quartz/Cinnamon 19" + Nav is on that ship too! Can't wait.

Actually, the Elektra is just off the coast...maybe 50 miles or so. Poke around here and you'll find it.http://www.sailwx.info/shiptrack/shiplocations.phtml
It should reach the Port of Halifax Monday morning (6:48 Local time).

Ship Tracking
I'm impatiently waiting for my Q5 Prestige (Ibis w/Cinnamon) and was intrigued by being able to track its progress across the pond. How do you know what ship your Audi gets shipped on? Is it noted in the tracking data from the dealer? My tracking report indicates a "Ship Loaded" date of 8/12 how long does it take to cross the Atlantic?
